Year 7 Warwick Castle Trip
Year 7 Warwick Castle Trip

Students in Year 7 spent the day last week experiencing 1,100 years of jaw-dropping history at Warwick Castle!

Although the weather was a little wet, it didn't dampen the students spirits as they took a tour of the castle. They enjoyed both the lavish interiors of the castle's main hall and the beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens. Climbing the castle's ancient towers and taking in panoramic views was a real highlight of the trip.

A new attraction at Warwick Castle was the maze. Students took a path through time to unravel history in the world’s first Horrible Histories adventure maze. They faced fun challenges: invaded a Viking ship, survived the trenches, uncovered evil plots and escaped the maze before things went horribly wrong!

Students were even brave enough to visit the castle dungeon, where they experienced an exciting 40 minute walk through the deep and dark dungeons with live actors, shows and spectacular special effects.

Thankfully the rain stopped in time for us to enjoy lunch whilst looking over the moat at the trebuchet.

All students excelled themselves on this trip and were a credit to the school.
