Year 9 Bricklaying Workshop
Trade School - Bricklaying Workshop

On Wednesday 20th March Year 9 students from Northfield School were pleased to welcome Richard and Sam from Trade School for a workshop in Bricklaying.

The students had the opportunity to see whether a career in construction might be for them. A two hour session was delivered to the students where they were taught all the basic skills and terminology used in bricklaying as well as having the opportunity to build a small wall each in the session.

Richard and Sam explained to the students which subjects at school they would need in order to help them pursue this career path. All students responded really well to the session and thoroughly enjoyed both the practical and theory elements to this trade.

Please see the 'Photo Gallery' section of our website for more photos.
